The Director of Events & Promotions leads the overall strategy, planning, and execution of destination-wide events, promotional initiatives, and new project launch events across Hoiana.
This role is responsible for conceptualizing signature experiences, driving brand activations, spearheading high-impact project launches, securing strategic partnerships, and ensuring strong commercial returns through disciplined budget management.
As a senior marketing leader, the Director will shape the annual events calendar to reinforce Hoiana’s positioning as a premier lifestyle, entertainment, hospitality, and property destination in the region.
1. Strategic Planning & Leadership
Develop and lead the annual Events & Promotions strategy aligned with corporate, marketing, and commercial objectives.
Build and oversee a comprehensive destination-wide events calendar, including brand activations, seasonal campaigns, entertainment programs, and large-scale signature events.
Integrate new project launch events (e.g., residential launches, new facilities) into the overall destination strategy.
Identify emerging trends and market opportunities to strengthen competitive positioning.
Lead, mentor, and manage the Events & Promotions team to ensure operational excellence.
2. New Project Launch Events
Lead the strategic planning and execution of all new project launch events across the destination.
Develop impactful launch concepts that drive media attention, stakeholder engagement, and commercial results.
Coordinate cross-functionally with Development, Sales, Operations, PR, Digital, and external agencies to ensure seamless execution.
Ensure each launch event delivers strong brand positioning and measurable ROI.
3. Concept Development & Experience Design
Conceptualize innovative event themes and promotional mechanics that increase visitation, engagement, and revenue.
Ensure all events align with brand standards and deliver a premium guest experience.
Drive integrated campaigns in collaboration with Brandcoms, Digital, PR, Business Development, F&B, Gaming, Hotel teams.
4. Partnership Development & Stakeholder Management
Lead strategic outreach to brands, sponsors, entertainment partners, agencies, and commercial collaborators.
Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship packages to enhance event scale and profitability.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, investors, media, and industry partners.
5. Budget Ownership & Performance Management
Develop and manage the annual Events & Promotions budget, including project launch allocations.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI and cost efficiency.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics including footfall growth, revenue uplift, brand exposure, partnership value, and media impact.
Present strategic updates and performance reports to the VP Marketing and senior leadership.
6. Governance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, licensing, safety standards, and corporate governance.
Oversee risk assessments and contingency planning for large-scale and high-profile events.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 8–12 years of progressive experience in events, promotions, brand activation, or destination marketing.
Proven experience leading high-profile launch events and managing significant budgets.
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive measurable ROI.
Experience in integrated resorts, hospitality, entertainment destinations, or property development launches is highly preferred.
