The Assistant Manager – Events & Promotions supports the planning, coordination, and execution of events and promotional activities across Hoiana. This role plays a key part in delivering brand activations, destination-wide campaigns, and promotional events that drive awareness, footfall, and revenue.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the Assistant Manager ensures all events are executed seamlessly, on brand, on budget, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
1. Event Planning & Execution
Support the Events Manager in delivering destination-wide events and brand activations.
Manage end-to-end event coordination including timeline development, vendor liaison, logistics planning, and on-site execution.
Ensure all events reflect brand positioning and deliver high guest engagement.
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless guest experience.
2. Promotions & Brand Activations
Execute promotional events across the destination including seasonal campaigns, festive activations, partnerships, and entertainment programs.
Work closely with Marketing, Sales, F&B, Gaming, Retail, and Hotel teams to align event objectives with commercial targets.
Assist in developing activation concepts that enhance brand visibility and increase visitation.
3. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Liaise with agencies, production houses, entertainers, suppliers, and partners.
Manage quotations, negotiate costs, and ensure deliverables meet agreed standards.
Coordinate with internal departments to secure necessary approvals and operational support.
4. Budget & Reporting
Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses.
Prepare post-event reports including performance analysis, attendance, ROI indicators, and improvement recommendations.
Monitor KPIs related to footfall, revenue uplift, and brand exposure.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all events comply with safety regulations, permits, and licensing requirements.
Conduct site inspections and risk assessments prior to event execution.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event management, brand activation, or promotions (preferably in hospitality, integrated resorts, retail, or entertainment destinations).
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience managing large-scale events and multiple stakeholders.
Good negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays when required.
